Understanding the condition.

Amelogenesis imperfecta is a group of inherited conditions affecting dental enamel development. Enamel can be unusually thin, soft, or poorly mineralized, leading to discoloration, sensitivity, accelerated wear, and tooth breakdown. Complex presentations may require coordinated restorative and orthodontic care.

Meticulously planned for longevity.

This patient presented with amelogenesis imperfecta and missing maxillary canine teeth #6 and #11. Comprehensive planning considered tooth position, bone support, occlusion, restorative materials, function, and smile aesthetics.

Rehabilitation combined bone grafting, orthodontic expansion, IPS e.max crowns, veneers, and fixed bridges. The goal was a maintainable reconstruction that restored both function and aesthetics.

Results vary by patient. This case is illustrative, not a guarantee of outcomes.
